She’s multicoloured
While he’s solid black and white
She’s a bright rainbow
He’s plainly comfortable
A perfect combination

A lovely poem, Robbie. I now have Molly Tuttle’s beautiful version of She’s A Rainbow running around my head!

Your poem reminds me that our differences help us to complement each other, like pieces of the same puzzle fit together. As long as we have enough of the same values, it works well.

Yes, JoAnna, you are right about common values. That is important.

This is so true, both sides, and it works well.

It works for Terence and I, Jacqui, I can’t say if contrast works for other couples. It probably depends on the people involved in the relationship.

Thank you, Mark. My husband and I are opposites in many ways but we are both chartered accountants and work for the same firm. My Christmas was wonderful and I hope yours was also great.
