My thanks to talented author, Stephen Geez, for host me with this post about The Abbot’s Kitchen, Glastonbury Abbey. One of the short stories in my short story collection, And the Grave Awaits, starts in this kitchen.
Thank you to talented poet, Dawn Pisturino, for this wonderful review of And the Grave Awaits.
Thank you for sharing your interview Roberta 🤗
The Abbey sure has an interesting history !

Hi Maggie, And the Grave Awaits is my favourite of my adults books. I think it contains my best writing to date. Lion Scream is my favourite of all my books though. It is the book that means the most to me. I’m delighted you enjoyed this bit of history.

Hi Roberta
I think we all have one book we hold dearly 🤗
And the Grave Awaits is now on the TBR list 😉

It is not a light book. Not horror but paranormal. 90% of the stories are based on real events and circumstances. Some are based on my experience with OCD and PTSD with my oldest son. And yes, every author has certain books and inspirations that are very dear to them.

I don’t watch any TV or movies which gives me that time for my hobbies. Real life is much more scary than fantasy.
