    1. Hi Dave, it was. It got a bit hard at one point for me as little goes right for Asta, but I went back and finished it after I’d read another book, Interview with a Vampire, and the ending was satisfying. The book couldn’t really go any other way given the circumstances.

  1. Another excellent review Robbie. I find slavery very hard to understand. And even in your telling the emotional conflicts are vivid. We never know what we would do, really, until we are faced with the situation ourselves. (K)
