Here are a few pictures of the doors at Hobbiton in New Zealand. I think they are so cute.

These doors are so cute. Can’t imagine how cute the rest of house would be

The movie set of the Shire is only the gardens and the outside of the houses.

Oh those are so neat. They look like little gnome houses.

Thank you, Janet. They are the doors of the Hobbit holes from the Lord of the Rings movies, so pretty close.

This is a great selection. Would love to go there soon if the bubble between Australia and New Zealand pushes through.

The doors are very cute! I have to say, though, the idea of living in a hole in the ground was more appealing to me when I was a child than it is now.

Well, Liz, it depends whether you are Ratty or Badger or Sam, or Frodo, at the time of living in the hole in the ground [smile]. Personally, I am a big Moley fan [and The Wind in the Willows is one of my favourite books].

Yes, they were. Unfortunately, there is nothing behind the doors but the set is beautiful and cute.

Great collection. The first two are looking like the entrance to wine barrels.;-) I actually cant remember the name of the Greek philosopher, but i remember there was one told living in a barrel. Have a beautiful weekend, Robbie! Best wishes, Michael
