St John’s College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge and was established by a charter dated 9 April 1511. The aims of the college, as specified by its statutes, are the promotion of education, religion, learning and research.
My family visited St John’s College in April 2018 and these are some of the pictures I took of its beautiful buildings, including the doors.

when we were in London a couple of years ago, we wanted to take a day trip to either Oxford or Cambridge. We opted to go to Oxford. Next time we go back, it will be Cambridge’s turn…

My husband’s uncle worked at Oxford, he was a professor of English specialising in Charles Dickens. We have visited but Greg doesn’t want to even apply for Oxford.

that sounds like an amazing job – specializing in Dickens while at Oxford…
my sense is that there are many great universities in England; I am sure Greg will find the one that is best suited for him…

Did they film Harry Potter here? Because they could very well have done.

HI Micah, Harry Potter was not filmed here. Apparently, one of the old castles was used to film Hogwarts. I have been to The Shambles in York where Diagon Alley was filmed
