Very colourful and lovely descriptions of the excitement of the circus performance. It made me think of some of your cakes and your fondant art as well, Robbie. Congratulations.

Yes, that’s for sure! Canada is almost 1 big furnace. Are you getting wildfires in S. Africa? ❦❦❦

Hi Resa, no wildfires now but it is winter here. We do get winter fires, but it is more likely during our very hot summer months. There was a fire in the Western Cape (Cape Town) a few months ago. Our winter has been cold and long.

Well, cold as it is, at least there are no fires.
How cold is cold? 0C? Below freezing?

This year our day time temperate shave averaged between 15 and 17C. That isn’t cold by your standards but we have no radiators, double glazing or central heating. Our houses are built for heat not cold so it’s unpleasant inside all the time. We do get sub zero temperature at night so getting up in the morning is not fun. We have a fire all day but it only heats a part of the house.

Wow, it sounds like you are camping out, but at home.
I wonder if this cold winter weather you’re getting will be a permanent fixture of climate change?
Things are definitely evolving. Hugs!

Hi Resa, I think it will be a permanent change. It’s been colder for the past three years and our summers are getting hotter.
