Roberta Writes – Reblog: In Touch With Nature, African killer bees, friend or foe #InTouchWithNature #Killerbees

My June In Touch With Nature post features African honeybees, and their relatives Africanized honeybees, also known as African killer bees. Thanks to Kaye Lynne Booth for hosting.

  1. I’ll head over to read your post soon, Robbie. 🙂 We have the grandkids most of the time in the summer except a few days here and there. I can hardly keep up with my chores and errands, but we enjoy our time with them. 😊

  2. Robbie – this was a brilliant article on African killer bees – something that I have never read about before. Your poem captures the action in clear detail.

    “Prepped for occupation
    The bees move in fast
Much to the chagrin of the resident dogs
    Who attempt to drive off
    The enemy force”

I had goosebumps reading your poem.
